I just tried the RAZR X steel iron set and for me this is the best irons I have ever tried. Playability and accuracy of these irons is unbelievable. I went to Affordable Golf in East Kilbride to get custom fitted. I was so impressed with them I had to ordered a set of the new Callaway RAZR X steel irons and I'm looking forward to break my handicap with the help of this new equipment.

I recently got myself the Adidas Innolux 2.0 golf shoes. They are very comfortable to wear and they have brilliant grip. These days it is hard to find golf shoes that fit well and don’t hurt after nine holes. These shoes tick all the right boxes.

On the box it tells you they are 100% waterproof and after getting caught out on the course by a huge down pour I can confirm they kept my feet warm and dry.

I was fed up always trying to keep my hands warm when out on the course pn cold days. I got myself the Benross Winter Mitts, they made a huge difference when worn in-between shots. The best thing was that I always have warm hands when hitting shots.

Champ Pro-Stinger Spikes

Champ Pro-Stinger Spikes


I have changed my golf studs over to spikes for the winter. When the ground is wet, it can be hard at times to keep your grip. When I changed my studs, I could feel the difference straight away, when walking on the fairway and on to slopes. I could feel more confident when hitting shots and not slipping.

I really recommend changing your studs over in the winter months, as most importantly spikes give you better grip to prevent you slipping when the ground is wet and frosty.
